Enough talking for now, here are 36 ways to leave your comfort zone and rock your life.

Enough talking for now, here are 36 ways to leave your comfort zone and rock your life.
  • Take a cold shower.
  • Talk with five random people in the street.
  • Wake up early and go out for a walk or with your bicycle.
  • If you always order alcohol at a bar, order an orange juice or tea.
  • Get rid of something you no longer use, once a day for thirty days.
  • Try a different route for going to work.
  • Cook something that you never ate before. Look up for some recipes online.
  • Turn off your cellphone and computer for two days.
  • Say yes next time someone asks you to go out, or ask someone else that you haven’t seen in a while to go out.
  • Learn something that you don’t really like or that you think is useless, like some math or some words of a foreign language.
  • Go out wearing something weird, or something that would catch other’s attention.
  • Call someone you haven’t talked to in a while, surprise them.
  • Switch to a  different office chair.
  • Next time you’re buying something, try to get a smaller price by asking a discount and negotiating. This is actually used all the times in some countries, so it might not be a challenge for many.
  • Ask a stranger in the street what the current date is, and when they reply, tell them that what you really want to know is the current year. Note: this is certainly weird, but a sure way to beat your fear.
  • Go to work with your bicycle if your work location is closer than 5 miles.
  • Make a list of five areas where you usually spend money but that are not important (note: going to the gym is important).
  • Get outside your home within five minutes that you wake up in the morning. Do whatever you want outside, but stay out at least 20 minutes. Try to go to the bathroom first.
  • Install a video camera and record yourself while working. Watch it later and pretend it’s someone else, judge how this person is spending their life, or even better do a live streaming so that everyone can see it and you’ll be more motivated to work.
  • Lay down for 10 seconds in the ground without saying a word, then get up as if nothing happened .
  • Visit a new restaurant or bar instead of going always to the same one.
  • If you’re always at home, pack some food and eat outside in the nature when the weather is nice.
  • Help a homeless in some way, or donate something you don’t need anymore to charity.
  • Call three random strangers and wish them a beautiful day.
  • If you work from home, try working outside or in a coffee shop.
  • Move to a different city or country, learn a new language.
  • Beat fear of public speaking by doing some speech as soon as you have the opportunity.
  • Next time you’re attending a show and the presenter asks for a voluntary to do something, be that voluntary.
  • Give up an addiction for a week
  • If you are single, walk up to a person of the different sex and tell them they are beautiful.
  • Go to a meetup site and look for a people with the same interests as you, and ask to join them.
  • If you’re trying to learn a new language, speak only that language for a week.
  • Try barefoot running, or try running if you don’t run at all.
  • Stop texting for a week. I bet this would be very hard for a lot of people. Also stop texting or using the phone while driving.
  • Pick one (weird) part time job.
  • Try reading a book instead of listening to music while commuting through bus.

Spending time together with your spouse: Make your relationship stronger

Spending time together with your spouse

Have you ever given a though how your days are spent?
I bet they go pretty much like this: Your daily work eats the majority of your time (whether you are working at home or you have a day job) and you also have your own personal hobbies that you want to pursue.
In addition you spend time with your family as much as you can and occasionally you want to spend time with your friends too. You might even have a pet which needs dedication as well.

When you look at the previous daily activities, do you think there is something important missing? You got it right, spending time together with your spouse.

Why spending time together is important?

There are many reasons why one-on-one time is important.
  1. You keep your relationship alive
  2. You can listen what’s been on your spouse’s mind lately (and take corrective action if it’s worries)
  3. You both feel happy when you can spend time with the person you love
  4. It gives energy to cope with occasional stressful moments in family life
As you can see, there are many reasons why you want to invest in some one-on-one time.

How to find free time for both of you?

A very common obstacle when spending one-on-one time is – you guessed it – how to find available time? Even if you could arrange your work matters in a way that they are not preventing your mutual time, there is one big thing to solve: How to deal with your kids?
After having a baby, me and my wife have been focusing on the well-being of our son. Although our son is our top priority, we have managed to spend time together with these ways:
  1. Plan in advance
First thing is to plan your time together. Try to find optimum time that suits you both. Based on the plan, you can then make additional arrangements, so that your common time  becomes a reality.
  1. Ask the parents
If you or your spouse’s parents live nearby and they offer their babysitting help, accept it! We have “utilized” our own parents quite a bit and what’s even best – they are happy to assist us in your babysitting needs.
  1. Ask your trusted friends or god parents
Maybe your parents don’t live nearby but your friends or god parents do? Ask them to take care of your baby when you are gone.
  1. Hire a nanny
If either your or your spouse’s parents live nearby or it is not possible to ask your friends/god parents to help you out, you can always hire a nanny.
If you know someone reliable, ask him/her to take care of your child/children when you are spending time together.
  1. Take advantage of nap times
Little children take naps during the afternoon and sometimes those naps can last for hours. For example, our newborn takes naps which last usually from two to three hours.
Although you can’t leave your home while your baby is sleeping, you can still take advantage of that time block by doing something together.

10 WORK STRESS BUSTERS

Follow these tips to relieve pressure at the office :

1.Harness ‘good stress’ to deal with ‘bad stress’. Focus on the positive aspects of your day, even if they’re only small, to lift your mood and help you focus on other problems.

Dr Robert Rosen, author

2.Scribble out anxiety by writing your thoughts down. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, simply jotting down all the tasks you need to do and dissecting them is enough to help you overcome tension.

University of Chicago

3.Phone home: talking to a loved one boosts the feel-good hormone oxytocin, leaving a smile on the face of the angriest desk jockey.

University of Virginia

4.Listen to music at your desk. Melodies provide a distraction, reducing muscle tension and cutting your levels of the stress hormone cortisol. Research has shown that listening to Mozart can help to improve your communication skills, creativity and task performance.

Mayo Clinic

5.If your To Do list becomes too long, swap your espresso for a glass of milk. It will boost your levels of feel-good hormone serotonin to beat the office blues.

Maastricht University

6.Stay at your desk late to beat heart problems. People who take work home with them are 20 times more likely to suffer.

Johns Hopkins University

7.De-clutter your desk to de-clutter your mind. Working in a clear environment helps free up your mind from unnecessary distractions, promoting productivity.

Wendy Hearn, business coach

8.Count to 10 in a foreign language. It distracts your mind quickly and efficiently enough to deal with sudden increases in your stress levels.

Will James, psychologist

9.If you feel like you’re about to boil over take a 15-minute break where you leave your work station and do some simple stretches. This has been proven to make you calmer and more productive.

American Journal of Industrial Medicine

10.Play a game. ‘Casual' video gaming can reduce stress and have other mood-lifting effects. This does depend on the game though, a leisurely round of Let’s Golf! will potentially see a more positive response than a hardcore session of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
